Missed the latter part of theseason due to an injury, last pitching on April 19... His bestouting occurred when allowed just two earned runs in 7.2 innings atKansas... Struck out a career-best six in a win at New MexicoState.
2008 (at Northeastern JC): Named to theFirst-Team All-Region IX team... Helped lead the Plainsmen to aschool-record 14-consecutive victories... Was the opening daystarter... Pitched 72.1 innings, allowing just 16 earned runs,striking out 68 while walking just 28 en route to an 8-3 record.
2007 (at Northeastern JC): Threw a completegame shutout in a 5-0 win over Lamar, throwing just 70 pitches inseven innings and surrendering just three hits... Pitched 50.2innings on the season with a 2.66 ERA and a record of 5-4... Struckout 39 and walked 24 as a true freshman.
