2010: Made five appearances on the mound in his first season as a Bear ... Pitches four innings in those appearances ... Finished the season with an 11.25 ERA and a strikeout ... After allowing five earned runs in his first two relief appearances, he showed great improvement, finishing the season with three consecutive shutout appearances.
2009 (at Hutchinson): Posted a record of 2-2 on the hill for Hutchinson... Appeared in six game with 21 innings pitched, striking out 12.
2008 (at Kansas State): Redshirted.
Prep: As a senior posted an ERA of 0.93 with a 5-1 record, three saves and 105 strikeouts... In his junior campaign, tallied a 7-2 record with an 0.86 ERA and 106 strikeouts for the Wolves... Earned a total of 16 letters at Idalia, four in football, four in basketball, four in track & field and three in basketball... Was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council President in his senior year... Helped the Wolves to three state champiomships, a fourth-place finish at state in basketball and the quarterfinals of state in his senior baseball season.
