Five Bears Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado student-athletes continued to excel in the classroom and on the field, as five members of the Bears baseball program earned recognition on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District Team.
To qualify for CSC All-District honors, undergraduate student-athletes must hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore academically. Graduate student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA both as an undergraduate and in graduate studies, unless they are in their first semester of graduate school.
Northern Colorado baseball was well represented, with five student-athletes recognized for their combined academic and athletic achievements.
Left-handed pitcher Gus Allred earned CSC All-District honors while maintaining an impressive 3.98 GPA as a Computer Science major. Allred appeared in 18 games during the 2026 season, totaling 31.2 innings pitched.
Right-handed pitcher Jake Storey also garnered All-District recognition, posting a perfect 4.00 GPA in Business Administration. Storey appeared in 16 games with 14 starts, logging 67.2 innings and tallying 58 strikeouts on the year.
Infielder Brandon Sanchez was honored with a 3.89 GPA in Business Administration. The junior appeared in 51 games, making 44 starts while anchoring the hot corner for the Bears.
Right-handed pitcher Trevor Landen earned his spot on the All-District Team with a 3.87 GPA in Business Administration. Landen appeared in 17 games, including seven starts, and recorded 56.2 innings pitched.
Rounding out the group, senior outfielder Jaden Stone earned All-District honors with a 3.65 GPA in Economics. Stone started 51 games for Northern Colorado during the 2026 campaign.
