2012 Great West Conference Player of the Week: March 12, 2012
2011: Played in just 16 games, with two hits and one stolen base... Scored three runs and had a total of three RBI with seven starts.
2010: Appeared in 38 games while starting in 28 during his sophomore season ... Finished with a .250 batting average ... Racked up 27 total hits, including five doubles and three home runs ... Knocked in 15 RBI ... In an April 13 game at home against Air Force, Schenk went 3-5 with two home runs and four RBI while scoring three runs.
2009: Hit .338 in his freshman campaign, playing in 33 games and starting 16... Tallied 24 hits with eight going for extra bases... Had a .507 slugging percentage and a .414 on-base percentage... Stole four bags and had four sacrifice flies... Had seven multiple hit games and six multiple RBI games during the season... Started 13 games in right field, two in center and one in left and had 10 starts hitting second in the batting order.
High School: Was a three-time all-state academic selection for the Mustangs... Named a First-Team All-Conference pick as a senior and a second-team as a junior... Also earned three letters in football to go along with his two in baseball, earning honorable mention all-conference honors as a receiver... Also played basketball and ran cross country at Mullen... Was a National Honor Society member and helped lead baseball to four conference championships.
Personal: Is the youngest of four children of Chris and Judy Schenk with older brothers Liam and Chris and a older sister Tara... Born December 29 in Denver.
