MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Northern Colorado's season came to a close on Friday afternoon as the Bears fell 3-1 to Oral Roberts in Summit League Tournament action.

The game remained scoreless through the first three innings before Oral Roberts broke through in the fourth. A sacrifice ground out plated the first run, followed by a two-RBI single from Ethan Fender to give the Golden Eagles a 3-0 advantage.

The Bears responded immediately in the bottom half of the inning. Jaden Stone, Logan Pruski and Ethan Mooser opened the frame with consecutive singles to load the bases. Jake Bullard delivered the clutch hit with an RBI single to center, trimming the deficit to 3-1. Northern Colorado, however, left the bases loaded to close out the inning.

Northern Colorado continued to apply pressure throughout the game, recording at least one baserunner in five of the final six innings, but could not find the timely hit. The Bears stranded six runners overall and were held without a walk by the Oral Roberts pitching staff.

Bullard led the offense with a 2-for-4 performance and the team's lone RBI, while Stone, Pruski, Mooser, Mason Griffin and Brett Barber each added a hit.

On the mound, Ethan Louthan took the loss after allowing three runs in 3.2 innings. Trevor Landen provided a strong relief outing, tossing 4.2 scoreless innings and equalized his longest scoreless outing of the season, tossing 4.2 innings out of the UNC bullpen and keeping the Bears within striking distance. Brady Hudson added a scoreless appearance to close the game.

With the result, Northern Colorado concludes its 2026 campaign.
