2009 Monfort College of Business Dean's List: Sept. 19, 2009
2011: Led the team with a 7-5 record, throwing two complete games in 13 appearances... Finished the year with a 5.24 ERA in 80.2 innings of work, over 20 more innings than any other pitcher on the team... Allowed 47 earned runs, walking just 29 and striking out 58... Completed his undergraduate degree in business marketing... Already ranks in the top 15 in school history in career strikeouts.
2010: A stalwart in the Bears' starting rotation in 2010, making 14 starts as a sophomore ... Proved to be very durable, leading the team with five complete games ... He also finished second on team with 87 innings pitched ... Finished with an ERA of 4.55 and a 7-5 record on the mound ... Did a good job of keeping the ball in the yard, allowing just five homeruns ... In his final start of the season, Willman pitched a complete-game shutout against Texas-Pan American.
2009: Spent time as both a starter and closer for the Bears in his freshman season... Led the team with a 6.79 ERA and had a record of 3-5... Appeared in 18 games with seven starts and three saves... Walked 25 while striking out 43 in 62.1 innings of work... Had six appearances with 6.0 or more innings pitched... In an 8-7 victory against Utah Valley, threw a season-most 127 pitches... His 18 appearances tie for the 13th most in a single-season at Northern Colorado, while his three saves tie for 11th... Also led the team with three pickoffs.
2008: Redshirted.
Prep: Earned two letters for the Raiders, earning First-Team All-Conference, First-Team All-City and Second-Team All-State honors as a senior... Selected to the Rockies Top 50 game... Earned academic all-state honors in his final two years.
Personal: The oldest of three boys of Tony and LeeAnne Willman with younger brothers Kevin and Casey... Majoring in business marketing.
