Welcome to the UNC Athletics Hall of Fame!
History of the Hall of Fame
The UNC Athletics' Hall of Fame's first induction class comprised eight individuals in 1994. Following the induction of the Class of 2024, the Hall of Fame has grown to include 167 individuals and 31 athletic teams. The Hall of Fame selection committee meets biennially in the early Spring to select that year's inductees from among the nominations. Once a nomination has been made, that individual or team will remain in the pool for a term of four years including two voting cycles. The next class will be selected in the Spring of 2026 for recognition in the Fall of 2026.
