Media Information & Policies
Requesting Game Credentials
All credential requests must be submitted to the Northern Colorado Athletics Strategic Communications Office via the online form at UNCBears.com/Credentials. Requests should be submitted as early as possible and no later than 12 hours prior to the scheduled game time. Same-day requests will not be approved. Credentials are issued to individuals and are non-transferable.
Credential Pickup & Parking
Credentials will not be mailed. They can be picked up at the ticket office of the designated competition venue beginning two hours prior to the event.
Parking passes will be sent digitally to the email provided in the credential application.
Photographers
Photographer credentials are issued based on assignment. Priority is given to individuals who regularly cover the participating institutions. Freelancers must be working on assignment for a recognized outlet or athletics communications department. All images captured are for editorial use only and may not be used commercially without written consent from Northern Colorado Athletics.
Media Interview Requests
Media members requesting interviews with student-athletes, coaches, or athletic administrators must contact the designated sport contact at least 12 hours in advance.
Timeliness is expected. If a scheduled interview is missed by more than 10 minutes, access may not be granted again until the next available time. If a student-athlete is unavailable due to academic or scheduling conflicts, efforts will be made to coordinate with another individual.
Weekly Press Availability
Weekly press conferences will be held during the season in Butler-Hancock Athletic Center, Room 202. Details, including dates and times, will be shared with credentialed media. Full video of these availabilities will be provided courtesy of Northern Colorado Athletics.
Post-Game Press Conference
Following a brief cooling-off period after competition, head coaches and select student-athletes will be available to credentialed media at:
Football: Butler-Hancock 202
M/W Basketball: Butler-Hancock 202
Volleyball: Bank of Colorado Arena
Soccer: Jackson Stadium
Practice Access
In-season practices are open to media on designated days. Media members must notify the designated sport contact in advance of attendance and submit any student-athlete interview requests at least one day prior.
Locker Room Policy
Northern Colorado's locker rooms are closed to all media at all times.
