2009: Pitched in two games, throwing just 0.1innings with an 0-1 record... Allowed two earned runs and two walksduring his time on the hill... Made the transition to the outfieldin the offseason.
Prep: As a senior in 2008 he was anall-conference utility player, earned all-area honors as a pitcherand outfielder, was a Denver Post all-state honorable mention and aRocky Mountain News all-state pitcher... Had a 1.17 ERA as a seniorand hit .425... Made the final eight in the state after winning theconference title... Was also a four-time honor roll selection.
Personal: The oldest of two children of Alanand Deborah Carpenter, he has a younger sister Lauren... Born March17, 1990 in Longmont and plans on majoring in businessadministration.
