2011: Finished the year tied for the fourth most pitching appearances in school history with 23... Also tied for fourth in the record books with five saves... Pitched in 27.0 innings with a record of 1-0 and a 3.67 ERA... Allowed just 11 earned runs with 17 strikeouts... Also combined with Joe Sawicki and Brendan Hall for a shutout win over NJIT on April 30.
2010: Appeared in 14 games on the mound for the Bears, including two starts ... Finished with 24.2 innings pitched and an 8.76 ERA ... In his second season, he also racked up 17 strikeouts ... In a March 7 game against Sam Houston State, Tallman came in as a reliever and pitched six innings of shutout baseball including two strikeouts.
2009: Threw 48.0 innings in 14 appearances as a true freshman with seven starts... Struck out 27 and posted a record of 2-6... Struck out at least one batter in his last four appearances and had two appearances with a season-best five K's.
Prep: A Second-Team All-State selection as both a junior and senior, he was also the 2007 Legion A State Tournament MVP as well as a two-time all-conference and all-county pick... Earned three letters for the Coyotes.
