2010: Indoor: Finished second in his heat and eighth overall at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championship in the 400 meters after running a career-best time of 48.65 in the preliminaries… Also timed a career-best 1:14.45 in the 600 yards during the season… Earned all-conference honors after helping the 4x400 meter relay team to a third-place finish (3:14.49) at the league championship. Outdoor: Had a breakout season, qualifying for the NCAA Regionals in the 400 meter hurdles… At the NCAA West Regionals, timed a 52.29 to finish fourth in his preliminary heat and finish 29th overall… Earned All-Conference honors after crossing the finish line at Weber State in 51.57 for second place, establishing a new career-best time… Also posted a career-best time of 22.11 in the 200 meters during the last regular season meet of the year… Ran on both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams at the Big Sky Championship, earning all-conference honors in the 4x400 (3:13.89), while the 4x100 team finished fifth (41.61).
2009: Indoor: Competed in both the 60-meter hurdles and 200 throughout the season... Tallied career-bests in both events at the Don Barrett Air Force Duals, clocking an 8.70 in the hurdles and 22.52 in the 200...Outdoor: Earned all-conference honors after finishing second at the Big Sky Conference Championship in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 52.84... Also helped the 4x100 meter relay team to a third-place finish in 41.59... Posted a career-best time of 22.19 in the 200 at the Ram Open in the final meet before the conference championship.
2008: Indoor: Posted season-bests of 23.09 in the 200 meters and 44-10.75 in the triple jump. Outdoor: Competed in six meets during the season, triple jumping in the first three and running the 200 in the final three... Tallied season bests of 22.41 in the 200 and 43-5 in the triple jump.
Prep: 2007 graduate of Sterling High School... Earned four letters each in tennis and track & field and three in basketball... Awarded all-conference academic team in tennis and all-conference and state qualifier for track in the high jump and triple jump.
Personal: Born January 4, 1989... Is the son of Doug and Kendra Morison-Short, with a sister Molly... Majoring in business finance.
