2011 Big Sky All-Academic: April 26, 2011
2011-12
Indoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Championship and finished 15th in the 60 meters and ran on the distance medley relay team that finished seventh... Ran a personal best at the Cherry and Silver Invitational in the 400 with a time of 58.15, which ranks eighth on the Northern Colorado All-Time Top 10.
Outdoor: Placed fifth at the Big Sky Championship in the 100 meters after timing a 12.12, just off her personal best of 12.09 from the Wyoming Snowball Opoen (Apr. 12)... Ran a career-best time of 24.58 in the preliminaries of the 200 meters at the Big Sky Championship, missing the finals by just 0.01 of a second... Both her 100 and 200 meter times are the second-fastest in Northern Colorado history.
2010-11
Indoor: Finished sixth at the Big Sky Indoor Championships in the 200 meters, clocking a 25.10 for the Northern Colorado indoor record... Also ran a 7.75 in the 60 meters at the Big Sky Championship to finish in ninth place, narrowly missing the finals.
Outdoor: Placed seventh in the 400 meters at the Big Sky Outdoor Championship after timing a personal-best 56.20 in the preliminaries... Her time is the fourth-fastest in Northern Colorado history... Also clocked a 25.10 in the 200 meters to finish in 14th place at the Big Sky Championship.
2009-10
Indoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Indoor Championships in the 200 meters, running a personal-best time of 25.74 in the preliminaries… Was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished fifth at the league championship… Also posted a personal best time of 59.14 in the 400 meters during the Don Barrett Duals on Jan. 30.
Outdoor: Advanced to the finals in the 400 meters of the Big Sky Outdoor Championship, the only freshman to make the final eight, where she finished fourth in 56.21… In the preliminaries, ran a career-best time of 55.66… Was also a member of both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays at the championship, helping the Bears to a sixth-place finish in the 4x100 and earning all-conference honors with their second-place finish in the 4x400... At the Fum McGraw Open, ran a 24.85 in the 200 meters for her fastest time in that event.
High School: Graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2009... High school coaches were Pat Busteed and Laurie Rice... Lettered four times in track & field... Earned two All-State Track & Field Honors and three All-Conference Track & Field Honors... Qualified for the Colorado State High School Track & Field Championships all four years, qualifying in the 100 all four year, the 200 three times and the 400 meters twice... As a senior, finished second in the 400, third in the 100 and fourth in the 200 at the State meet... Also ran the 4x100, 4x400 and 800 sprint medley meter relays... Was the conference champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meters her senior year... Named Most Valuable Sprinter her freshman, sophomore and junior years for the Lambkins and Most Valuable Athlete her senior year... Received four Academic All-State Honors in Track & Field and three Academic letters from her high school.
Personal: Born January 23 to Trish Hansen Foster and has a younger sister, Whitney... Is majoring in sport and exercise science and hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy.
