2010: Indoor: Competed just twice during the indoor season, posting a career-best time of 17:26.14 in the 5000 meters and 9:33.55 in the 3000 meters, both at Air Force. Outdoor: During his six outdoor competitions, posted a career-best time of 4:10.98 in the 1500 meters at the Fum McGraw Open.
2009: Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: Redshirted.
2008: Indoor: Ran in just one meet, posting a time of 4:55.47 in the mile at the Don Barrett Air Force Open. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets, running a 4:12.21 at the Ram Open in the 1500 meters and a 15:39.38 in the 5000 meters at the Steve Scott Invitational at the final race of the year.
Prep: Graduated in 2007 from Kansas City Christian Academy... Lettered in four years of cross country, three years of track and two years of basketball... All-conference selection all four years in cross country, as well as being awarded three time all-regional runner and all-state as a senior... Won the conference and region titles his sophomore and senior years... Holds the school records in the 5000 meters and 4x800 meter relay and helped lead his team to three state cross country titles in four years... Also a four time honor roll selection.
Personal: Born May 26, 1989 in Overland Park, Kansas... One of four children of Mark and Marcy Sojka and is majoring in business.
