Prep: A 2009 graduate from Paonia High School... A member of the honor roll all four years of high school... Competed for four years in volleyball, basketball and track... Was a two-time all-conference selection in volleyball, two-time all-conference selection in basketball, three-time all-conference in track and a first-team academic all-state... Qualified for the state meet in the 200 meters, 400 meters, 4x100 meters, 4x200 meters, 4x400 meters, 4x800 meter and 800 medley relay... Earned seven state medals in track and won the state title in the 4x800 meter relay in 2009.
Personal: Born March 6, 1991 in Denver to Kim Venard-Griffis, Larry Griffis and Steve Douglas... Has four siblings: Samantha, Paige, Mekinzi and Steven... Plans on majoring in psychology.
