2009-10: Named to the Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic Team for both indoor and outdoor track & field.Indoor: Broke his own school record in the 400 meters onback-to-back days at the Big Sky Conference indoor championship,clocking a 47.88 in the finals to earn all-conference honors with athird-place finish… Was also the anchor leg of theschool’s 4x400 relay team that clocked a 3:14.49 at theconference championship to place third and earn all-conference.Outdoor: Converted to a 400-meter hurdler after running inthe 400 meters throughout the rest of his collegiateexperience… At the Big Sky Outdoor Championship, finishedfifth overall with a time of 53.92… Posted a career-besttime of 52.81 at the Fum McGraw Open on May 8… Ran on 4x400and 4x100 meter relay teams throughout the year… At theleague championship, ran the opening leg of the 4x400 team whichplaced third with a time of 3:13.89, which led the quartet toall-conference honors.
2009: Indoor: Ran the 400 and 4x400relay, qualifying for the Big Sky Championship in the 400 meters...Won his preliminary heat in the 400 at the Big Sky Championship,finishing 12th overall... Clocked a season best time of49.23 in the 400. Outdoor: Ran the 200, 400, 4x100 relayand 4x400 relay... Qualified for the Big Sky Championship in boththe 200 meters and 400 meters... Earned all-conference honors byfinishing third at the conference meet in the 400 with a 48.05 andhelped the 4x100 relay squad finish third with a time of 41.59.Posted season best times of 21.66 in the 200 and 47.46 in the400.
2008: Indoor: Ran the 200, 400, and4x400 relay... Qualified for the Big Sky Championship in the 400...Clocked season best times of 22.54 in the 200 and 49.10 in the 400.Outdoor: Ran the 200, 400, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay...Qualified for the Big Sky Championship in the 400 and placed fifthat the conference meet with a time of 47.91... His season bestswere 22.32 in the 200 and 47.71 in the 400.
2007: Indoor: Ran the 200, 400 and4x400 relay... Ran the lead off leg on the 4x400 relay team thatwon the Big Sky Championship with a school-record time of 3:13.97,earning all-conference honors for his efforts... His season bestswere 23.10 in the 200 and 50.53 in the 400. Outdoor:Redshirted.
Prep: 2006 graduate of Hilltop Baptist...Competed in four years of football, basketball, and track &field... Was an all-conference selection as a safety infootball, three-time all-conference selection in basketball,first team all-area for small schools, and a state qualifier fortrack in the 200 meters, 300 hurdles, 4x100 meter relay and 4x200meter relay his senior year.
Personal: Born August 1, 1988... Majoring inbusiness marketing and plans to pursue a master's degree in sportsadministration after graduation... His parents are Mark and LisaHoerner.
