Indoor
Was named the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & FieldAthlete of the Week for December 6th, 2011 and January24th, 2012. Evan qualified for the Big SkyConference Indoor Track & Field Championships and earned BigSky All Conference Track & Field Honors placing 1stin the 200M Dash while running a personal best time of 21.16 and2nd place in the 60M Dash while running a personal besttime of 6.76 and ran on the 4 x 400M Relay team that finished in7th place.
2010-2011
Indoor
At the Big Sky Conference Championship, timed a 6.89 in the 60meters preliminaries and went on to finish sixth, which is thethird-fastest time in school history... Also broke the schoolrecord in the 200 meters at the league championship after running a21.41 to win the Big Sky Conference title... In the first meet ofthe year, posted the second-fastest 55 meter time in schoolhistory, running a 6.49.
Outdoor
Qualified for the NCAA Regionals in both the 100 and 200meters... Ran a 10.40 wind-aided time to win the Front RangeChampionship, but his career-best legal time is a 10.59 in the 100meters, which ranks 10th in school history... His 21.16 in the 200meters from the preliminaries of the Big Sky ConferenceChampionship ranks second in school history... EarnedAll-Conference honors after finishing third in the 100 (10.67) andsecond in the 200 (21.48) at the Big Sky Championship.
2009-2010
Indoor
As a true freshman, finished second at the Big Sky IndoorChampionships en route to all-conference honors with hiscareer-best time of 21.65… Also ran a 7.03 in the 60 metersearly in the season and twice ran on a 4x400 relay team.
Outdoor
Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the 200 meters, placing41st overall… Won the 200 meter title at the Big Sky OutdoorChampionship, clocking a 21.51 and finished sixth in the 100 meterswith his time of 10.78… Posted his fastest time of the year,a 21.25 at the Front Range Classic on May 1.
High School
2009 graduate from Grandview High School... Competed infour years each of football and track, earning three letters ineach... Part of a state champion football team in 2008 and leaguechampions in 2009... Finished fifth in the 200, eighth in 4x200meter relay, 13th in the 4x400 meter relay and second in the 4x100meter relay his senior year at the state track & field meet...Posted one of the top 100 times in the state with a 10.89 and wasawarded all-state honors his senior year.
Personal
Born July 23, 1991... The son of Mark and Liz Taylor withtwo brothers, Brett and Glen... Plans on majoring in sport andexercise science.
