Named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team for Indoor Track& Field. Indoor: Completed in the long jump in fourmeets for the Bears, posting a season best mark of 20-8 at the DonBarrett Duals to finish in ninth place. Outdoor: In sevenmeets during the outdoor season, was entered in the long jump inall seven as well as running the 200 meters twice... His careerbest jump of 6.54 meters took place at the Colorado State-PuebloInvitational in mid-April.
Prep: 2009 graduate from Sand Creek HighSchool... Played football and competed in track & field,earning two letters in football and four on the track... Finishedfifth at the Metro League Championships in the long jump as asenior... Competed in the 100 meters, long jump, triple jump and4x100 meter relay... Earned CHSAA Academic All State First TeamAward in 2007... Placed ninth at the state championships as ajunior.
