UNC Baseball Adds Joe Kinneburg to Coaching Staff

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Baseball has announced the addition of Joe Kinneberg to its coaching staff, bringing experience in player development, recruiting, game strategy and analytics to the Bears program.
Kinneberg joins UNC after serving as an assistant coach in the Appalachian League. Prior to that, he spent the 2025-26 season as a graduate assistant coach at Arkansas Tech, where he assisted with daily practices, player development, game film analysis, recruiting and strategy.
As a player at Arkansas Tech, Kinneberg helped the program capture the 2025 Great American Conference regular-season championship and the 2026 GAC Tournament championship. He also competed at Newman University and Western Nebraska Community College, helping Western Nebraska to the 2021 Region 9 Tournament championship.
"We're thrilled to add Joe to our staff," said Head Coach Mike Anderson. "He's a very good, young and energetic coach who has already traveled several different paths in his baseball journey. Joe brings a strong understanding of the Midwest and will be a great addition to our recruiting efforts and our staff."
Kinneberg earned a master's degree in College and Student Affairs from Arkansas Tech in 2026, a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Newman in 2024 and an associate degree in Exercise Science from Western Nebraska Community College in 2022.
