2013-14
Indoor: Qualified for Big Sky Championships in 200 and 400 meters, and was also a member of 4x400 relay team that placed sixth...His mark of 22.22 seconds in the 200 meters Jan. 31 at the Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho, was 10th all-time at Northern Colorado at that time.
Outdoor: Qualified for Big Sky Championships in 400-meter hurdles and was a member of the 4x100 and 400 relay teams, the latter of which placed first at 3:11.79...His time of 52.66 in the prelims of the 400-meter hurdles at the Championships was the fourth-best in school history at that point.
2012-13
Indoor: Competed in 400 and 600 meters for the Bears, placing third in the latter at the Wyoming Power Meet Dec. 7 with a time of 1:26.84, which was at that time the sixth best-time in school history.
Outdoor: Qualified for Big Sky Championships in 400-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x100 and 400 relay teams...Best time of the season in the hurdles (53.08 seconds) came at Championships, where he placed sixth.
2011-12
Indoor:Â Ran in four meets for the Bears, posting a career-best time of 22.83 in the 200 meters at the Air Force Team Challenge (Jan. 28)... Also timed a personal best 51.95 in the 400 meters in his final race at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 10)... His time of 22.83 in the 200 meters is the 10th fastest in Northern Colorado history.
Outdoor: Qualified individually for the Big Sky Championship in the 400 hurdles and competed on both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays... Ran a personal best 54.02 at the Big Sky Championship in the 400 hurdles prelims, finishing ninth and missing the finals by 0.07... Helped the 4x100 relay team finish seventh and the 4x400 relay place eighth... Also ran a personal best time of 21.95 in the 200 meters at the Front Range Classic (May 4).
2010-11 (at Colorado): Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons... Named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School:Â Earned four letters at Thompson Valley as a member of the track and field team... As a senior he was fourth at state in the 200... Also an all-conference selection in the 100... As a sophomore he was third in the region in the 100 and 200... His best times in high school were 11.10 in the 100, 22.34 in the 200 and 51.70 in the 400.
Personal:Â Andrew James Kemmer was born on October 13 in Loveland, Colo... He is the son of Jay and Susan Kemmer and has one brother, Stuart, and one sister, Jamie... Stuart was a member of the swim team at Metro State... Majoring in communications.
