2013-14
Indoor: Competed in 60 meters, 60-meter hurdles and 200 meters for the Bears...Also a member of 4x400 relay team Feb. 1 at Idaho State's Mountain State Games.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the 100- and 400-meter hurdles, placing 45th and 30th, respectively...Qualified for Big Sky Championships in 100- and 400-meter hurdles, placing seventh and fourth, respectively...Set school record in 100-meter hurdles at championships at 13.65 seconds...Set school record in 400-meter hurdles (58.98 seconds) May 3 at Wyoming's Cowpoke Open.
2012-2013:
Outdoor: Set a personal-best in the 100m, running in 11.95 seconds, April 26-27 in Fort Collins at the Jack Christiansen Invitational...Matched career-best in the 200m (24.81 seconds) at UNC's Tom Benich Classic March 22-23...Ran the 100m hurdles in13.93 seconds, a personal-best and the second-fastest time in school history, May 4 at the Cowpoke Open in Laramie, Wyo...Also competed in the 400m hurdles for the first time in her career, posting her best time of 1:01.42, the third-fastest in UNC history, at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Champtionships May 11 in Portland, Ore.
Indoor: Set the school record in the 55m hurdles with 8.02-second run Feb. 22 at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships in Bozeman, Mont...On Feb. 9 at the Air Force Team Challenge, ran the third-fastest 60m hurdles in school history (8.66 seconds).
2011-2012:
Outdoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Conference Championship in the 100, 200 and 100 meter hurdles... Ran a season-best 12.01 in the 100 meters at the Fum McGraw Quadrangular (Mar. 31), which is the second-fastest time in school history... Her best time of 24.81 in the 200 meters -- also coming at the McGraw Quad -- is the fifth-best time ever at Northern Colorado... At the Beach Invitational (Apr. 20), she ran a 14.58 in the 100 meter hurdles to place her name sixth on the school's descending order list.
Indoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships and placed seventh in the 60 meters, 10th in the 60 hurdles and 13th in the 200 meters... Was honored as Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week on December 6... Set personal bests at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 200 (25.17), at the Wyoming Power Meet in the 55 (6.95), at the Air Force All-Comers Meet in the 60 (7.62) and at the Air Force Team Challenge in the 60 high hurdles (8.76)... Broke the school record in the 55 and 60 meters as a true freshman and has the third-fastest time in school history in the 200 meters... Also has the second-fastest time in the 55 hurdles and the third-fastest in the 60 hurdles.
High School: Was homeschooled but competed in track and field for Cherokee Trail High School... Was coached by Tara Ashby, Loren Turner, Brian Arnold and James Faust... Lettererd a total of five times (three in track and field, one in swimming and one in softball)... Earned two all-state track and field honors and Skyline League track & field all-conference Honors as a freshman... Qualified for the Colorado State High School Track & Field Championships four times in five events, ran on four relays and competed in 15 events over the course of her high school career... Placed fourth in the state as a senior in the 100, 100 high hurdles and 300 low hurdles... Was honored as Cherokee Trail's Track & Field Most Valuable Athlete her freshman, junior and senior years... Helped Cherokee Trail win a Centennial League championship as a senior.
Personal: Born on May 24 in Oklahoma City... Parents are Carlos and Tara Ashby... Has one older brother, Ajai, one older sister, Aunesty, one younger brother, Asend Higha, and four younger sisters: Apeasha, Aunyx Alwais blessed, Amazing Journie, and Aumni Presence.
