Cross Country
Alex ran at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships and finished in54th place. Alex set a personal best at the FortHayes Invitational for the 8000M Run with a time of 27:30.00.
Indoor
Alex set personal bests at the Air Force Invitational for the 800MRun with a time of 2:03.69 and at the Air Force Team Challenge forthe 1 Mile Run with a time of 4:52.62.
High School
Earned a total of 11 letters for Washington High School,four in cross country, four in track & field and three inbasketball... Earned all-conference in cross country for threeyears and was an all-state pick in both his junior and seniorseasons... His final two campaigns earned all-conference andall-state honors on the track and all-conference honors in hoops...Was a two-year team captain in track and basketball... Holds theWarriors school records for three-pointers in a season and in acareer... In his senior season, helped the 3200 meter relay team tothe South Dakota state title, running the third leg... Alsofinished fifth in the 800 meters after clocking a 1:57.42... Amember of the National Honor Society and student council.

Born in Sioux Falls on Jan. 14 to Tom and Laurie Holm...Has two older sisters, Beth and Kristen... After college, wants toteach elementary school.
