2012-13:
Outdoor:Â Posted a new personal best time in the 800m (2:25.57) at UNC's Tom Benich Classic March 22-23, finishing fourth overall...At the Fum McGraw Quadrangler March 30 in Fort Collins, bested her previous time in the 1500m by almost two seconds by running a 5:16.31...Also competed in 3000m Steeplechase once and recorded a time of 13:50.04.
Indoor: Competed in the 600m for the first time in her UNC career and posted a time of 1:48.90 at the Wyoming Power Meet Dec. 7, also the third-fastest time in UNC history...Ran a personal best mile (5:48.01) Feb. 9 at the Air Force Team Challenge
2011-12:
Outdoor:Â Competed in five meets for the Bears, running every distance from the 800 to the 5,000... Had a personal best of 2:33.04 in the 800 at the Wyoming Snowball Open (April 12) and also ran on the 4x400 relay in three meets... Posted a 5:18.13 in the 1500 meters at the Fum McGraw Quadrangular.Â
Indoor: Ran on the distance medley relay team at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships that finished in 7th place... Set personal bests at the Air Force Invitational in the 800 meters with a time of 2:29.41 and at the Air Force Team Challenge in the mile with a time of 5:54.93.
Cross Country:Â Set a personal best at the University of Colorado Springs Rust Buster Invitational in the 4K with a time of 16:41.82.
High School: Graduated from Doherty High School in 2011... Coached by Chuck Shwartz and Cydney Creech... Was a standout student-athlete earning a total of nine varsity letters (four in Track & Field, four in Cross Country and one in Volleyball)... Earned two All-State Track & Field Honors, two All-State Cross Country Honors, three All-Conference Track & Field Honors, and three Cross Country All-Conference Honors... Qualified for the Colorado State High School Track & Field Championships three times running on her high school 4x800 relay team with their best finish of third place as a freshman... Qualified for the Colorado State High School Cross Country Championships four times... Received Academic All State Honors as a Junior and Senior in Cross Country and Track & Field... Captain as both a junior and senior for both cross and track... A member of her high school National Honor Society, Student Council, Link Crew and DECA.
Personal: Born on May 23 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Terry and Nancy Anderson... Has two older brothers Matt and Jon, an older sister Sarah, and a younger sister Mary... Sarah was a member of the Bears' soccer team.
