2009: Played in seven games, making one catch for a gain of 15 yards in the final home game of the year against Sacramento State... Was the back-up holder for field goals and saw extended action on special teams.
2008: Was a member of the scout team.
High School: Spent two years at Colorado State but did not play football... Earned First-Team all-state honors... As a senior had 45 catches for 929 yards and seven touchdowns... Also had 47 tackles and four interceptions as a safety... Earned Second-Team all-state honors as a junior... Also competed track & field and basketball.
Personal: Born Dec 24, 1987 to John and Jeanie McDonnell... Is the oldest child with a younger brother, Andy and a sister, Marie... Is majoring in business.
