2009: Named to the Big Sky All-Conference Second Team after finishing in a tie for third on the team with 74 total tackles... Led the team with 112 interception return yards and also recovered two fumbles and returned them 41 yards during the season... Had a team-best nine pass break-ups... Led all players in the Big Sky Conference with 12 passes defended and his 112 interception return yards and 41 fumble recovery yards were both the best marks in the league... Tallied double figure tackles in three games, including tying his career-high mark of 11 against both Montana State and Weber State... Against Portland State, he notched the fourth longest interception return in school history at 88 yards and his 36 yard fumble recovery return at Eastern Washington is the fifth longest-ever at Northern Colorado.
2008: Redshirted.
2007: Played in six games, starting in four... An injury at Idaho State cut his season short... Tallied 11 tackles and had three pass breakups at cornerback... Tied his career-high with four tackles against Chadron State in the Bears’ home opener.
2006: Played in all 11 games, starting in six for the Bears... Tallied four tackles on three different occassions, with four solo stops against Eastern Washington on Oct. 14... Also had one interception for a 27-yard return and one pass breakup against the Eagles... Recovered a fumble against Idaho State on Oct. 7.
High School: Played quarterback for the Spartans, throwing for 660 yards and five touchdowns and rushing for 552 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior... Team was 6-1 in the Denver Prep Conference in 2005... Was an honorable mention All-State pick his senior year, as well as a First-Team all-conference and all-city pick... Earned four letters in football.
