2018
- Took over as starting QB after Jacob Knipp became injured starting six of the seven games he played in.
- Passed for 1,172 yards and 10 touchdowns while running for 81 yards and another touchdown.
- Made first career start against Weber State.
- Surpassed the 300 yards passing mark against Sacramento State.
- Had a career-best three touchdown passes against Northern Arizona.
- Ran for a career-high 33 yards against Weber State.
2017
- Appeared in three games for Northern Colorado becoming the backup quarterback to Conor Regan.
- He ended up completing 11 of his 26 pass attempts for 152 yards and also ran for 39 yards on 12 carries.
- Mott played the majority of the second half against Montana passing for 144 yards on 10 completions.
2016
- Mott became the second string quarterback for the Bears in 2016 behind Kyle Sloter. Redshirt
High School: Ranked a Top 25 QB by ESPN for the class of 2016... Was a four-year letter winner in football and a two-year letterwinner in baseball... Played at two different high schools throughout his career... Was named All-Conference during his sophomore and junior seasons, as well as All-City... Was a U.S. Army All-American Nominee... All-State during his senior season... Team captain both is junior and senior seasons... Holds three school records... Led team to two conference titles and one semifinal appearance.
