- Started all 12 games at corner
- Led the team with four interceptions, returning two for touchdowns

- Started all 11 games at corner opposite teammate Isaiah Swopes.
- Made 29 tackles (20 solo)
- Had a pick-six in the game against McNeese State when Sherand Boyd Jr., lateraled the ball to Walker who took it to the house.

2017
- Walker played in seven games for the Bears while battling nagging injuries throughout the year.
