2013: Played in 38 games, starting in 31, mostly at third base... Hit .250 on the season with four doubles and a home run... Was 3-for-5 in stolen bases and tied for fourth on the team with five sacrifice bunts... Had eight multi-hit games and twice during the season had a four-game hitting streak... Went 3-for-4 against Utah Valley on May 4.
2012 (at Diablo Valley): Hit .277 as a freshman third-baseman, playing in all 42 games… Was third on the team with 10 doubles… Also had 16 RBI and was successful in his only stolen base attempt… Ranked sixth in the Big 8 Conference in walks in conference-only games with 14… Tied for fourth on the team with 43 hits and drew 17 walks.
High School: Graduated from San Ramon Valley High School in 2011… Helped lead the baseball team to the state playoffs in 2010-11 as well as the football playoffs in 2008-10… Named the baseball team’s defensive MVP in 2010 as well as the Leader of the Pack award winner on the gridiron in 2010… Played both short stop and third base on the diamond and quarterback and safety on the football field for the Wolves.
Personal: Studying criminal justice at Northern Colorado… Is the youngest of four children of Mike and Nancy Love with three older sisters, Kelli, Kate and Whitney… Born April 17 in Walnut Creek, Calif.
