2014: Started 32 of 45 games played in at catcher … Hit .240 from the plate with 29 total hits, including three doubles and four triples … Drove in 15 RBI’s and scored seven runs … Totaled a slugging percentage of .331 and an on-base percentage of .273 … Recorded 136 putouts and 22 assists in 161 total chances for a fielding percentage of .981 … Logged a four-hit game with one run scored against North Dakota State on March 8.
2013: Finished fourth on the team with a .326 batting average... Played in 35 games, starting in 23... Twice during the year went 4-for-5 at the plate and against NJIT had five RBI... Had a nine-game hitting streak from May 4 through May 17... Recorded five multi-hit and five multi-rebound games... Was successful in all three stolen base attempts... Started seven games behind the plate and 16 at designated hitter.
2012 (at Ellsworth CC): Named to the All-Region Second-Team as well as the Academic All-Region First-Team squad… Played in 41 of the team’s 50 games, hitting .333 with 10 doubles and six home runs… Had a slugging percentage of .586 and was 6-for-8 in stolen bases… Third on the team with 37 hits… In the field, had just one error in 181 chances… Threw out 14 would-be base stealers… Also named to the Dean’s List.
2011 (at Ellsworth CC): Named to the Academic All-Region Team… Hit .250 as a true freshman, starting in 32 of the 34 games in which he played… Had a slugging percentage of .304 and notched five sacrifice hits.
High School: Graduated from Davenport West in 2010… Was named to the Iowa High School All-Star Team as a senior after earning First-Team All-Conference honors… Was a Second-Team All-Conference pick as a junior… Also golfed for Davenport West… Hit .380 as a junior and .360 as a senior for the Falcons.
Personal: Is the youngest of two children of Dave and Julia Coffman, with an older sister, Chelsea… Born August 9 in Davenport, Iowa… Is majoring in accounting at Northern Colorado.
