2012: Hit .311 for the year with nine doubles, one triple and one home run… Played in 45 games for the Bears, starting in 32, splitting time behind the plate with Derek Baum… Did not commit an error in 150 chances… His longest hitting streak during the year was five games.. Hit .464 against left-handed pitching (13-for-28) and was second on the team hitting .378 with runners on base… Recorded 10 mult-hit games in his junior year and spent the majority of the season either hitting seventh or eighth in the lineup.
2011: Played in 40 of the team's 56 games, starting in 36... Was successful in his only stolen base attempt... Third on the team with six sacrifice bunts... Seven of his 28 hits were for extra bases... Scored 14 runs and had 14 RBI... Had eight multi-hit games... All 36 of his starts were behind the plate for the Bears.
2010: Enjoyed a very successful freshman year on the campus of Northern Colorado... Appeared in 33 games while starting in 17... Scored eight runs on 24 hits... Also had 12 RBI with two doubles and two homeruns... Played a majority of his time behind the plate for the Bears... First homerun of his collegiate career came in a March 6th home game against Creighton.
High School: Is the fourth Division I baseball player to sign out of Olathe Northwest in school history... A First-Team All-Sunflower League, All-Olathe News and All-Sun Country selection as well as a Second-Team All-State pick... As a junior, hit .355 with a .583 slugging percentage and three home runs... Hit .400 in his senior year... Named to the school's honor roll.
Personal: Is the middle of three sons of Mike and Joan Lambert with an older brother Grant and a younger brother Connor... Born Dec. 13, 1990 in Durham, N.C... His uncle, Joe Strain, was an All-American for the Bears.
