2012: Played in 43 of the team’s 60 games, starting in half… He started 27 games in centerfield and three in left field… Hit .262 for the year with eight extra-base hits… Was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases… Second on the team with five sacrifice flies and had seven multiple hit games… Longest hitting streak of the year was four straight.
2011 (at Fort Scott): Played in 58 games, hitting .365... Accumulated 22 stolen bases... Named to the all-conference team and was an Academic All-American... Helped lead the team to a 42-18 overall record.
High School: Graduated from Legacy High School in 2009... Earned four letters for the Lightning, playing both short stop and outfield... Named the team MVP as a senior as well as to the Front Range All-Conference team... Hit .425 in final season with 48 RBI... Named to the academic honor roll.
Personal: The only son of Jeff and Niecie Banach with an older sister, Shannon... Born November 8 in Broomfield, Colo... Is a business marketing major.
