2014: Started 23 of 38 games played in … Finished third on the team in slugging percentage with an average of .370 and in home runs with two … Hit .239 from the plate with 22 hits, including two doubles and two triples … Scored 11 runs while bringing in 11 RBI’s … Made 101 putouts and 26 assists in 129 total chances for a fielding percentage of .984 … Drove in multiple RBI’s in three games.
2013: Started in 12 games, starting in 26... Hit .229 with three doubles in his 11 hits... Was 2-for-3 in stolen bases... Threw out five would-be base stealers from behind the plate... Had just one error in 60 chances.
2012: Played 21 games, starting in eight as a true freshman… Hit .349 with four doubles… Had a slugging percentage of .442, walking once… All eight of his starts came at designated hitter… Went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a double in his first start at NJIT on April 7… Started three of four games against NYIT, going 5-for-10 with four RBI and a stolen base – his only one of the year.
High School: Was a First-Team All-Conference pick as a junior and senior and an honorable mention selection as a freshman and sophomore... Earned Mountain Range Defensive Player of the Year in 2010... Named honorable mention All-State in 2010 and 2011... Hit .451 as a senior, .471 as a junior, .423 as a sophomore and .419 as a freshman... Also lettered twice in football at fullback... Helped lead the baseball team to the playoffs in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
Personal: Father, Mike, played football for the Bears from 1975-78... Born August 19 in Englewood, Colo... Hopes to major in business... Is the youngest of two children of Mike and Zoe Tibbitts with an older brother, Chris.
