2013: Played in all 12 games where he made 26 tackles; nine solo and 17 assisted... Recorded at least five tackles in two games, five at Wyoming on Sept. 14 and six against UC Davis on Oct. 19… Made one tackle for a loss, totaling five yards, while also recording one fumble recovery and one pass breakup.
2012: Played in 10 games, missing only the season opener and started in four... Recorded 28 tackles, two sacks, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble... Tallied a career-best six tackles both at Cal Poly and against Northern Arizona... Had a sack in wins over Idaho State and Weber State... Notched multiple tackles in the six of the final seven games of the season.
2011: Redshirted.
High School: A two-year captain for the Terrors, Urbaniak earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior after being an honorable mention pick as a sophomore and a second-team selection as a junior... Also a forward on the basketball team, earning four letters... A four-time honor roll selection as well... During his high school career, played full back, tight end, defensive end and linebacker.
Personal: Is one of four children of Lorrie Urbaniak... Brother Nick is also on the football team at UNC... Also has two sisters, Jenn and Kailey... Born April 16 in West Palm Beach, Fla... Is hoping to major in business administration.
