Indoor: He competed in five meets including the Big Sky Indoor Championships...He ran the 3000m and the Mile events...His best time in the Mile was 4:26.48s at the New Mexico Don Kirby Invitational...He ran his best time in the 3000m at the Air Force Invitational with a time of 9:33.23s.
Outdoor: He ran in seven meets including the Big Sky Outdoor Championships...He ran the 800m, 1500m and the 4x400m relay events...His best 800m came at the Fum McGraw Open with a time of 1:57.93s...His best 1500m came at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships with a time of 4:02.17s...He ran the 4x400m relay at the Tom Benich Invite with a time of 3:25.48 placing 3rd overall.
High School: Was a three-sport athlete at Heritage High School... Competed in cross country, basketball and track and field for the Eagles... Was a four-year letterwinner in both XC and T&F, and earned two letters in basketball... Was a cross country State Qualifier for three straight seasons and a two-time State Qualifier in track... Earned Second Team All-Conference honors in 2015 in XC and First Team All-Conference honors in 2016... Was also a 2016 First Team All-Conference Honoree in track and field... Ran the 1600m, 800m, 5K and 400m in track.
Personal: Is the son of Ted and Renee Romero... Has one older sibling... Born 4/16/1998... Plans to major in Biology (Pre-Med) at UNC.
