2016-17:
Indoor: Competed in two meets during the Indoor Season...Her best event came at the Joe Davies Classic where she set a career best in the Mile with a 6:10.18s time.
Outdoor: She competed in four events during the outdoor season running only the 1500m events...Her best 1500m event came at the Tom Benich Invitational in Greeley with a personal best time of 5:26.02s...At the Air Force Twilight Open she place 2nd in 1500m with a time of 5:47.50s.
2015-16:
Indoor: Competed in one indoor event her true freshman season running the 800m at the Air Force Invite... She placed 24th overall with a time of 2:51.93.
Outdoor: Ran in three meets during the outdoor season, all in the same event, the 1,500m run... Marquez set a new personal record in the event, running it in 5:37.50 at the CU Invite... Her best placing in the event came at the Bears' Home meet, the Tom Benich Invite, where she finished 12th overall with a time of 5:41.07.
High School: Was on both the XC and the track and field teams at Desert Mountain High School... Finished as a multi-letter winner and a State Qualifier in the 4x800m relay... Specialized in distance events... Owned a first place finish in the Scottsdale City Meet as a part of the 4x800m relay team... That same team finished 14th overall at the State Championships...
Personal Bests:
Marquez is the daughter of Rod and Kirby and she has an older sister named Kendall who i 24 years old. She is currently majoring in Special Education here at UNC.
