2018-19:
Indoor: Remington set a lot of cross country personal bests for himself this indoor season in 5k, 8k, and 10k. At the opener, the Wyoming Invite, Remington ran his personal best 5k at 16:20.7. At the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational he ran his best 8k at 25:20.9. And, his best 10k at the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Cross Country Championship at 32:12.0. Through track and field, Remington still showed strong results. He competed in 3 meets, and at the 2019 Colorado Invitational he recorded his personal fastest mile at 4:29.10.
Outdoor: Remington attended 6 meets this outdoor season and he competed in 5000m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, and 4x400. At the Tom Benich Invitational Remington helped his team receive 3rd place for thr 4x400 at 3:27.63. And, at the 2019 Colorado Invitational Remington set his personal best time for 3000m at 8:55.18 leaving him to finish in 2nd. At the UNC Invite Remington finished 1st for the 1500m, running his personal fastest at 4:00.98. He also attended the Adidas/Steve Scott Invitational where he finished 12th overall for 5000m at his fastest personal time of 14:57.96. And, to end the season he attended the Big Sky Championship where he competed in the 5000m and took 29th place at 15:46.06.
2017-18:
Indoor: For Cross Country Remington ran mainly 5k and 8k's and at the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Cross Country Championship he ran a 6.21167m. At the BRC/ MSU Cross Country Classic he ran his best 5M run at 27.11.1. Remington also attended the Big Sky Cross Country Championships and, at the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Cross Country Championship Remington ran his personal fastest 6.21167m at 33:43.9. As for track and field, Remington competed in 4x800, 800m, miles, and DMR. He participated in 7 total meets for the season. Remington started fast at the Wyoming Power meet where he finished in 2nd place for 4x800, where him and his team ran a 8.43.44. He continued to show high numbers and at the Big Sky Indoor Championships he ran a 1:57.58 800m and a 10:29.36 DMR.
Outdoor: Remington competed in 4 meets during this outdoor season and he ran in a 4x400, one 3000m and two 1500m. At the 2018 Tom Benich Invite he helped his team finish 7th for 4x400 at 3:40.62. And, at the NoCo Challenge he finished 3rd at 4:03.37 for the 1500m.
2016-17:
Indoor: He participated in six meets during the indoor season...He competed in the 800m, and the 4x400m relay during indoor season...His best 800m came at the Colorado Open with a time of 1:56.40s...He ran in the 4x400m relay at the Big Sky Indoor Championships finshing with a time of 3:21.28s placing 9th overall.
Outdoor: He participated in six meets during the outdoor season...He ran in the 400m, 800m, 1500m and 4x400m relays events...He set a personal record in the 400m with a 51.75s time at the Fum McGraw Open...He also set a PR in the 1500m at the Colorado Invitational with a time of 4:10.98s.
High School: Isaiah was a four-time letterwinner in XC and a three-time letterwinner in T&F at Frontier Academy....The Greeley native was an All-Conference honoree in both his junior and senior seasons in track and field... Led his XC team to the 3A State Championship title in 2013, and two Runners-Up titles in 2014 and 2015... Also won three straight 3A Region 4 titles in cross country... in T&F, helped the team win the 2013 Patriot League Championship... Was a team captain in XC during his senior campaign... Was an Academic All-State recipient two years in cross country and two years in track and field... Named All-City in track and field in 2016.
Personal: Son of Randy and Myrna Remington... Has one younger sibling... Born 6/19/1998... Plans to major in Journalism at UNC.
