Bio
2018-19:
Indoor: Ritter competed in 4 overall meets including the Big Sky Indoor Championship. He ran mainly 60m, but he also competed in 4x400 and 200m. Ritter finished in the top 20 for his first 4 events between the Air Force Invitational and the 2019 Colorado Invitational. At the Big Sky Indoor Championship Ritter ran his personal fastest 60m at 7.02 in the preliminary rounds.
Outdoor: Ritter participated in 7 meets including the Big Sky Championship. He mainly competed in 4x100,200m, and 100m. At the Fum McGraw and Tom Benich Invite, Ritter helped his team receive 1st place at both meets for 4x100. Ritter also recorded his fastest time for 200m at the 2019 Triton Invitational at 21.96 which placed him in 6th place overall. And to close the season out, at th Big Sky Championships, Ritter and his team showed up and received first place for 4x100 at 40.46. Ritter individually ran his fastest recorded 100m at 10.59 where he finished overall in 4th place.
High School: Ritter attended Fountain Fort-Carson High School where he lettered in track and field all four years as well as lettered in football. He was a State champion, was All-State Academic Football, and was the Pomona Meet MVP in high school.
Personal: Ritter was born on January 28th, 2000 in Germany. He is the son of Omarley and Sherea, and he has one sister and one brother. He is majoring in sports and exercise science here at UNC.
