Bio
2018-19:
Indoor: Ibro participated in 4 events where he ran 55m, 60m, 200m, and 4x440. Ibro ran his personal fastest for the season for 55m at the Wyoming Power meet where he placed 9th at 6.68. He continued to finish in the top 25 in all hi event for the next two meets...at the 2019 Invitational he ran his fastest 60m, and 200m. At 60m he finished in 19th place at 7.10, and for 200m he finished in 19th place again at 22.69.Â
Outdoor: Ibro attended 5 meets total in the outdoor season and she ran in 100m, 200m, 4x100, as well as long jump. Early on in the season Ibo was crucial to helping his team place 4th at the Fum McGraw Invite for 4x100 at 41.88. Ibo also ran his best time for 100m at the 2019 Tom Benich Invite where he placed 4th at 11.17. For long jump, he jumped his best at the 2019 Colorado Invitational at 5.84m. And, to wrap up the season Ibro helped his 4x100 team in placing 2nd at the UNC Invite at a time of 41.98. Personally, for Ibro's 100m he finished in 3rd place at the same meet at a time of 11.20.Â
High School:Ibro attended South High School where he lettered and participated in track and field, basketball, and football. He was an All-DPS Athlete. He also currently holds the 4x100Â relay team record for high school.Â
Personal: Ibro was born on June 28th, 1998. He is the son of Naby Soumah and Geneieve Bangoura and he has 4 brothers and one sister.
