2016: Singleton was a Captain for the Bears in 2016 and continued to show why he is one of the best cornerbacks in the Big Sky Conference. Singleton was second on the team in tackles with 89 (39 solo). Opposing teams rarely targeted Singleton's side of the field but he was able to make an interception against Portland State. Singleton also recorded 2 sacks.
2015: Singleton was UNC's "Mr. Reliable" in 2015. He played every snap for the Bears at corner, starting in all 11 games. He finished third on the team in tackles with 77 (39 solo, 44 assists). He finished with 5 PBUs and 6 PDs and had 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. He also tallied 1 interception and 1 TFL.
2014: Played in 10 of 11 games in his sophomore season, starting four of them at corner... had a season-high 7 tackles in the opener at UNLV on Sept. 6... had two PBUs in win over #25 Northern Arizona on Oct. 4... Recorded single INT of the year at home versus Houston Baptist on Sept. 13... Also completed a two-point conversion in win over Houston Baptist
2013: Played 11 of 12 games, making 19 tackles; 8 unassisted, 11 assisted… Totaled five tackles against both Montana State on Nov. 2 and North Dakota on Nov. 9.
2012: Redshirted.
High School: Was ranked No. 3 in Colorado, and No. 29 nationally in 2011 among defensive backs… Also ranked No. 2 in total offensive rankings in the 5A Centennial League… As a senior, he was listed No. 1 in the league in rushing and No. 10 in state… 2,000 total rushing yards during 2010; 1,300 total rushing yards in 2011… “Singleton isn’t very big, but he is slippery like a squirrel. Diminutive in stature, Singleton is a dual-threat QB with just enough skills in the passing game to keep you honest,” said an ESPN analyst.
Personal: The oldest of two sons of Donlevi and Sylvia Singleton, he has a younger brother, Brandon... Born Feb. 5 in Atlanta... Will pursue a degree in communications.
