2013: Played in all 12 games after last playing in 2010… Recorded 11 kick-offs for 563 yards and 60 punts for 2558 yards; a season-best 60 yard punt at Wyoming on Sept. 14… Forced 12 fair catches and put the ball inside the 20 yard line 15 times… Totaled 13 punts of 50+ yards... Punted a season-high eight times for 336 yards while also recovering one fumble at Northern Arizona on Nov. 16.
2011-12: Did not play football.
2010: Punted five times in the quadruple overtime game at Weber State, averaging 35.4 per punt and pinning the Wildcats inside the 20 on three of his five punts.
2009: Redshirted.
High School: Played football and basketball and competed in track & field for the Warriors, earning three letters in each... On the gridiron, was the kicker and punter as well as a receiver and defensive back... Named to the Colorado All-State 3A team as a punter... The Tri-Valley Conference’s special teams player of the year, he averaged 36.4 yards per punt in his senior campaign... Made all of his point-after attempts in both junior and senior seasons... Was a two-time all-conference selection in football and a Northern League All-Conference pick in basketball as a senior.
Personal: Is the oldest of three children of Andy and Shannon Ellingsen with younger siblings Ryleigh, Max and Sadie... Was born in Cherry Point, N.C. on Aug. 30, 1991... Majoring in both psychology and exercise science.
