2014: Played in six games before his season ended due to injury... Was leading the team in tackles after week six...Received a medical redshirt... Finished with 37 tackles (22 solo 15 assisted)... Had game sealing interception at home against Houston Baptist on Sept. 13... Ended with 1.5 TFL for 5.0 yards....
2013: Played in 11 of 12 games to record 32 tackles, 15 solo… Began the year strong while totaling 14 tackles and a pass break up in the season-opening win against Langston on Aug. 31.

High School: Attended a majority of his high school career at Newman Smith in Carrollton, Texas... Earned three letters in football and also was a jumper on the track & field team... As a senior was named first-team all-district and was an honorable mention all-state selection... Tallied 127 tackles and one interception... Also earned academic all-state.
Personal: Is the oldest of two children of Keith and Arcenia Johnson with a younger sister, Jalavia... Born June 10 in Plaquemine, La... Hopes to major in business.
