2013: Threw for 2725 yards in 10 games, recording a completion percentage of 56.8% with 16 touchdowns… Totaled a season-high 390 yards against Colorado State-Pueblo on Sept. 7, resulting in three touchdowns… Recorded a season-long pass completion of 80 yards in the season-opening win against Langston on Aug. 31… Averaged 272.5 yards per game while averaging 7.9 yards per completion… Began the season while throwing three consecutive games with a completion percentage of 56%, including two games over 60%... Passed for over 300 yards in four games.
2012: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team... Also an honorable mention All-Conference selection... Threw for 2,797 yards, which is the third-highest total in school history and the highest total for a non-playoff quarterback... His 5,365 career passing yards also rank fourth in Northern Colorado history... Threw for a season-best 418 yards in the win at Weber State... Passed for 19 touchdowns and rushed for another three on the season... Against Idaho State, passed for a career-best five touchdowns in the game, hitting four different receivers in the endzone... Completed 231-of-396 passes for a career-best completion percentage of 58.3... Topped 250 passing yards in six games, bringing his career total to 12 games.
2011: Threw for 2,448 yards in 10 games... Completed 199-of-365 passes with 17 touchdowns... Also rushed for 57 yards... Twice threw for over 400 yards in a game, including a career-best 430 against North Dakota with four touchdowns... The 430 passing yards ranks second on the single game charts in school history, just six yards shy of the record of 436 by Nick Henkowski vs North Dakota in 1983... Also threw for 408 yards at Eastern Washington, which ranks third on the school's charts... Had 404 yards total offense at Eastern Washington to tie for fourth on that chart... Played and started in 10 games, though in the season finale, he started at wide receiver so Dylan Orms could start his final game at quarterback.
2010: Saw action in four games under center... Completed 10-of-18 passes for 120 yards and one touchdown... In three of the four games in which he played he completed three passes... His only interception of the year happened at FBS Michigan State... Rushed for a career-best 17 yards at Sacramento State.
2009 (at Colorado): Redshirted.
High School: Garnered first-team All-State (2A) honors as a senior and was a two-time All-Patriot League performer as a junior and senior... Second-team All-State as a junior and honorable mention All-League as a sophomore... As a senior, completed 158-of-276 passes for 2,741 yards and 34 touchdowns (with just four interceptions)... Set league records for passing yards and touchdowns... Also rushed 97 times for 594 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per carry... His 5,944 passing yards, 58 touchdown passes and 6,977 yards of total offense were all career school bests... Also lettered four times in basketball, leading team to three Patriot League titles and the 2007 state championship where he was voted the state tournament’s most valuable player... Lettered twice in track (sprints, jumps), with prep bests of 51.0 in the 400-meter dash and 43-10 in the triple jump... A three-time, first-team Academic All-State selection for basketball and a two-time honoree for football.
