2008: Tied the school, Big Sky and NCAA recordfor a kickoff return when he returned one 100 yards to start thegame against Northern Arizona... It was the first TD return for theBears since 2002... The only game he didn't start on defense wasthe Northern Arizona contest after he had the return... Tied forthe team lead with three interceptions and was second with six passbreakups... Tallied a season-best seven tackles at UC Davis, allsolo stops... He also had his longest interception return againstthe Aggies at 18 yards.
2007: Named the Big SkyConference Defensive Player of the Week after the Bears' 16-13victory over Montana State in which he recorded two interceptions,including a career-long return of 21 yards... He also had acareer-best nine tackles in the win... Played in all 12 games,starting in five... Finished sixth on the team with 47 tackles andled the team with eight pass breakups, twice as many as any otherplayer on the roster... Blocked two kicks, a PAT at Idaho State anda FG against Sacramento State... Also forced one fumble andrecovered another.
2006: Was a member of the scoutteam for the Bears.
2005: Redshirted.
High School: Three-sport staras a prep... Led the Bulldogs to a 6-1 conference record and 8-3overall record as a senior... The Bulldogs also earned a berth inthe 2004 state playoffs.
Personal: Son of ShermanWofford and Suzanne Gomez... Is majoring in journalism with anemphasis in public relations and advertising and a minor incommunication studies.
