2024 Season (Junior): All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention selection... Phil Steele All-PFL Second Team selection... Led Butler in receptions (36) and receiving yards (620)… Scored two touchdowns… Averaged 51.6 yards per game and 17.2 yards per reception… Dominated the action at Valparaiso with eight receptions to gain a season-best 138 yards (11/9)… Had 111 yards on five catches the next week vs. St. Thomas (11/16)… First 100-yard game came at Davidson on four grabs (10/26)… Caught a 70-yard touchdown pass in the season opener vs. Upper Iowa (8/31)… Added a TD catch in the game vs. St. Thomas… Caught six passes vs. Dayton to compile 50 yards… Rushed the ball four times to gain 15 yards… All four rushes came at Valpo… Longest rush covered five yards… Made a tackle vs. Upper Iowa and St. Thomas.

Personal: Son of Lacy and Kyle Wooten. Has two siblings, Isabelle (20) and Ethan (17). Attended Danville Community High School in Indiana, where he played football and basketball. Transferred to UNC after attending Butler University from 2021 to 2025. His greatest sports moment was making #5 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays. Enjoys golf, working out, and cooking. Chose UNC for its outstanding master’s program in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, as well as the opportunity to compete at a high athletic level.
