High School:Â Gibbs was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and baseball at Fayetteville High School: As a senior, Gibbs passed for over 2,500 yards and threw 29 touchdowns. He completed 59 percent of his passes and averaged 231 passing yards per game. In a contest against Springdale, Gibbs threw for a career-high 336 yards.
