2025: Appeared in all 12 games as Northern Colorado’s primary punter and kickoff specialist, turning in one of the most productive seasons in program history. Recorded 58 punts for 2,504 yards, averaging 43.17 yards per punt. Posted a season-high 48.2-yard punting average against Idaho State (Sept. 27), ranking seventh all-time in a single game in the Division I era. Finished the season ranked ninth in season punts, seventh in season punting yards, and fourth in season punting average in the UNC Division I record book (since 2006).
Also handled kickoff duties, totaling 51 kickoffs for 3,242 yards with 39 touchbacks, providing consistent field position control throughout the season. His 2025 totals placed him prominently in the UNC all-time records, ranking 16th in single-game punting yards (360), 10th in season punting yards (2,504), fourth in season punting average (43.17), and second in career punting average (43.17).
Personal: Son of Susanne and Bodo Blumentritt. Has one sibling, Kira (27). Graduated from Gymnasium Markt Indersdorf in 2019 and came to UNC after spending the 2023-24 season at College of the Sequoias, where he earned Special Teams MVP honors. Pursuing a degree in Sports and Exercise Science – Human Performance. Chose UNC to compete in a top FCS conference and because it offered the perfect academic fit for his career goals.
