- Saw action in two games as a freshman on special teams.
- Recorded his first career tackle in the season finale against Portland State.

AT WHEAT RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL
- Graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 2025, where he was a two-sport athlete in football and track.
- Ranked top three all-time in Colorado high school football history for both receiving yards (3,352) and receptions (231), with 37 total touchdowns.
- Earned 2024 All-Colorado honors, was named the 2024 Jeffco Conference Football Player of the Year, and was a three-time First Team All-Conference selection and team MVP.
- Also an eight-time state track qualifier across the 100m, 200m, 400m, and relays.
- Greatest sports moment came on 9/5/24 against Stanley Lake, recording 6 catches for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns, along with an interception—all in a single quarter.
PERSONAL
- Bennett is the son of Jessica and Brandon Wilkes.
- He has two younger siblings, Noah and Kleine.
- Enjoys weightlifting, swimming, and gaming.
- Chose UNC because of the coaching staff, location, and the opportunity to help change the trajectory of the program.
