- 2024 Big Sky Conference Fall All-Academic Team
2025: Appeared in all 12 games at safety, finishing as one of Northern Colorado’s most consistent defensive contributors. Recorded 75 total tackles (38 solo, 37 assisted), ranking among the team’s leaders, while adding 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack. Posted multiple nine-tackle performances, including season highs against Portland State (Nov. 22), Northern Arizona (Nov. 8), and Eastern Washington (Nov. 15).
Bryant added playmaking presence in the secondary with two interceptions, highlighted by a pick at Idaho (Oct. 11), and returned interceptions for 33 total yards. Also logged three pass breakups and one forced fumble, providing steady production and reliability across the back end of the Bears’ defense throughout the season.
2024: Appeared in 11 games. Recorded 52 tackles, two pass breakups and forced one fumble
Prior to UNC
Before joining Northern Colorado, Bryant attended James Madison (2018-2019) and Western Colorado (2023-2024), in addition to serving in the U.S. Army from 2020-2023.
Personal: Son of Stephanie Coleman and Darrell Bryant Sr. He has six siblings: Malik Ruffin, Dajhzon Bryant, Dezariah Bryant, Dyrrell Bryant, Dyamond Bryant, and Kash Bryant. From Hampton, Virginia, and graduated from Phoebus High School where he played both football and basketball. While at Phoebus, he earned Defensive Player of the Year honors and was a First Team All-State selection at both safety and tight end.
