2012: Sat out after transferring to North Texas.
High School:
• Was ranked as the third best player in Colorado and the 15th best dual-threat quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com in 2011
• Was a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and was named the Colorado 4A Player of the year as a senior and was a four-year starter
• Led his team to consecutive state titles in his junior and senior seasons
• As a senior, he threw for 2,150 yards, 23 touchdowns, completed 61 percent of his passes and threw only five interceptions
• Averaged 7.3 yards per carry as he rushed for 952 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior
• In the state title game victory, Berglund threw for 280 yards and ran for 122
• His junior season, he threw for 2,226 yards and 30 touchdowns with only four interceptions
• Ran for 7.6 yards a carry as he racked up 890 yards and 14 touchdowns
• Led Valor Christian to a perfect 14-0 record and a state title
• Played baseball, basketball and ran track
• Was part of state champion 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams and finished fourth in the state 200-meters as a junior
