2024: Appeared in four games. Recorded 16 passing yards and 100 rushing yards. Added one rushing touchdown
2023: Appeared in eight games...went 5-for-15 for 124 yards and one passing touchdown, and also added one rushing touchdown.
Prior to UNC
2021:Â Gibbs appeared in four games for the Cowboys playing mainly special teams as a holder.
2020:Â Gibbs played in a reserve role for the Cowboys and did not appear in any games.
High School:Â Gibbs was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and baseball at Fayetteville High School: As a senior, Gibbs passed for over 2,500 yards and threw 29 touchdowns. He completed 59 percent of his passes and averaged 231 passing yards per game. In a contest against Springdale, Gibbs threw for a career-high 336 yards.
