2015: Transferred in at semester and participated in spring practices... Was on pace for a solid junior season until a knee injury took him out after week 7.... Started at LB for the first seven weeks... Recorded 32 tackles (7 solo 25 assist) and 2.5 TFLs.
Junior College: Stansbury played two seasons after high school at Santa Rosa Junior College for the Bear Cubs. Stansbury positioned himself as a successful linebacker, earning first team All-League his sophomore season. He was also voted as the defense's team captain, the team MVP, and earned the Bearcub Athletics Trust Award for his efforts on and off the field.
High School: Bryan played both sides of the ball at Will C. Wood High School in Vacaville. He was an exceptional quarterback, earning Monticello Empire League's first team nods his junior and senior seasons, as well as MEL Player of the year. But Stansbury was just as good on defense, also picking up first team All-MEL for his linebacking efforts both is junior and senior seasons as well. He played in every game the last two years of his high school career and was voted team captain. He was voted first team All-Region in 2011-12 at linebacker, adding to his list of accolades.
Bryan is the son of Ron and Dina Stansbury and has three siblings in Ron Jr., Tara, and Aaron. He is currently working on a sports and exercise science degree at Northern Colorado.
